The Struts framework provides the invisible underpinnings every professional web application needs to survive. Struts helps you create an extensible development environment for your application, based on published standards and proven design patterns. The course will introduce the basics of Struts design and use, and teach theoretical and practical practices needed to create a complete Struts-based application. In addition, the course will provide a pathway from HTML through servlets, basic JSP and JSTL. Additional topics provide alternative frameworks and web development tools available in current J2EE versions.
